<description>I took a chance on a Commodore 64 eBay listing that was sold as not working correctly. The deal included a mountain of paperwork and extras, so the gamble felt worth it at the time. However, things got complicated quickly. In this video, we try a character ROM swap to fix some nasty screen glitches, only to find the problem runs much deeper. With the help of an 8 in 1 Dead Test Cart, we uncover multiple bad chips on the board. Now I have to decide: is this vintage machine worth the effort to save or is it a lost cause?
